Established through a joint partnership between Virginia Beach and USA Field Hockey, the USA Field Hockey Training Center features two artificial turf fields, lighting, offices and locker rooms, parking and an equipment room. Construction on the project began in late spring, 2001. The U.S. Women's National Team is headquartered at the facility that also serves as home to USA Field Hockey events such as the National Futures Championship, National Championship and Club Championship.
