The world governing body for the
sport of field hockey, the International Hockey Federation, or Fédération Internationale
de Hockey (FIH) serves as the "guardian" of the sport. Working in cooperation
with the national and continental organizations, the FIH helps to ensure consistency and
unity in hockey around the world. The FIH not only regulates the sport, but is also
responsible for its development and promotion in order to guarantee a successful future

Hockey Federation
The Pan
American Hockey Federation is continental governing body for the sport
