PARTNERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
Field hockey is the second most played
team sport in the world. As the U.S. Womens National Team continues to rise in the
international standings, U.S. Field Hockey provides corporations a unique opportunity to
affiliate with an organization anchored in U.S. sports tradition and international
athletic excellence. Sponsorship opportunities exist on a regional or national basis, for
athletes of all ages and skill levels as well as coaches and officials.
National Teams: Throughout the world
of amateur athletics, the performance of each nations senior national team is the
most visible yardstick for judging the success of the sport. Currently ranked eighth in
the world, the U.S. Womens National team is a symbol of determination and success,
of achievement that derives from hard work and focus. Affiliation with the national team
provides corporations a concrete symbol of excellence and an opportunity to access
athletes and coaches who can serve as an inspiration to employees and customers around the
world. In addition, the U.S. mens and age group teams provide corporations an
opportunity to get in on the ground floor, to take part in building programs focused on
the future, including the Pan American and Olympic Games.
Event Sponsorship: The National
Hockey Festival, National Indoor Tournament and National Futures Tournament are the
premier events of the Association and provide companies with a variety of opportunities
for involvement including title and/or category sponsorship. In addition, U.S. Field
Hockey hosts an annual international tournament which may involve the womens and/or
mens national or age group teams and top teams representing at least three other
nations. Pre-event and event communications may include on-site sales, product premiums
and giveaways, banners, promotional flyers and brochures, event services, officials
and administrative staff/volunteer uniforms, and awards.
Advertising: U.S. Field Hockey
provides a number of opportunities for corporate message delivery including Field Hockey
News and various tournament and event programs. Click here for additonal

Licensing: Only licensed companies
have the right to use association event, team and corporate marks, logos, photos and
symbols for promotional purposes. Licensing agreements are issued on an annual basis by
the Association. Only current licensees are provided the opportunity to bid for the
designation of "Official Supplier" to U.S. sponsored events and tournaments.
Event Exhibits: At all major events
hosted by the association, companies are invited to secure exhibit space at which they may
share their products and services with those attending the event. In most cases, space is
limited and is provided on a first-come, first served basis with priority given to current
sponsors and licensees.
