USA Field Hockey Membership Enhancements,
New Benefits Now Available

USA Field Hockey members will enjoy new benefits and new opportunities in 2004 following the approval of new membership enhancements, classifications and fee structure by the organization’s Board of Directors.

Among the new benefits offered, member players, coaches, officials and trainers will now be covered under an accident medical program while participating in USA Field Hockey events. In addition, members will now have the added benefit of immediate online access to their membership information from the USA website. 2004 also introduces new participation opportunities for adult players including April’s USA Club Cup and a new regionalized Summer League.

"USA Field Hockey has always been committed to its members, and this is an opportunity to provide an even greater membership value while expanding the benefits of that membership," said USA Field Hockey President Sharon Taylor. "By working together, we all make U.S.A. Field Hockey stronger and more effective for the benefit of each of us and for our sport."

Under the new structure, membership is now available in Under-12 Youth ($25), Under-19 ($40) and Adult/Umpire/Coach categories ($50). The slight increase in fees will help cover the cost of funding the new comprehensive, secondary insurance program.

The new benefits are available immediately to all new and current members.

Enjoy instant eligibility in USA Field Hockey events such as the National Hockey Festival, National Indoor Tournament, Futures Program, Summer League, the new USA Adult Club Cup and other regional and national events.

•Insurance coverage. Compete in official USA Field Hockey events with the added security of a comprehensive, secondary insurance program. With this newly available insurance program enhancement, members will now be covered for approved USA Field Hockey activities under the accident medical program.
