Cape Henlopen High School

Follow signs and routes that take you to the Delaware Beaches

Get on Route 1 South

As you near Lewes you’ll see signs for Nassau Orchard and then will go over a bridge (called the Nassau Bridge by locals). There is a fire station on the right and Best Equipment Business also on the right.

Get into the left lane and take the left turn at the light following Route 9 Business.

After 6 tenth of a mile you’ll see a Happy Harry’s on the left and the road will curve around to the left.

Go another 8 tenth of a mile and you’ll see a sign for Cape Henlopen HS and make a right turn at the sign. If you cross the railroad tracks you have gone too far. Turn around and try again.

You will see the football stadium on your right and just on the curve make a left turn and go around the student parking lot towards the front of the building.

As you come around to the front of the building you’ll see another parking lot near the tennis courts (you will also see the green house). Park in the lot and enter the building through the left most double set of doors to the gym. DO NOT PARK ON THE CIRCLE IN FRONT OF THE BUILDING.

If you miss the turn onto Route 9 Business and are now still on Route 1 you can continue (1.1 miles) until you see the sign for the Cape May Ferry. Follow those signs and you will come past the front of the high school and will see the tennis courts first.
