Futures Region 1 Regional Tournament
This is a reminder about some important details for the tournament on Sunday, June 1st!!!
The tournament will be held RAIN or SHINE at Memorial Field in Durham NH- University of New Hampshire. This tournament will NOT be rescheduled. (You can find directions at: www.unhwildcats.com)
U14’s
Please arrive to check in at 7:30am. There will be plenty of time to check in- there is a small group of you.
Please check in at the registration table FIRST. You may then find out what team you’re on by looking on the posted team rosters. Your games will be starting at 8:00am. You will find your team name on the field and your coach will meet you there. You will be given your number from your coach.
You will be playing three 15 minute games with 10 minutes in between.
U16’s
Please arrive to check in at 9:15am. You will be playing four 20 minute games with 5 minutes in between. Your games will run from 9:45am- 1:00pm.
Please check in at the registration table FIRST. You may then find out what team you’re on by looking on the posted team rosters. Your games will be starting at 9:45am. You will find your team name on the field and your coach will meet you there. You will be given your number from your coach.
U19’s
Please arrive to check in at 1:30pm. You will be playing four 20 minute games with 5 minutes in between. Your games will run from 2:15pm-5:55pm.
Please check in at the registration table FIRST. You may then find out what team you’re on by looking on the posted team rosters. Your games will be starting at 2:15pm. You will find your team name on the field and your coach will meet you there. You will be given your number from your coach.
***U16 and U19 Goalies will have a special Goalie session from 1:00 and 2:00 Please plan on staying later or arriving earlier as appropriate for you age group.***
REQUIREMENTS:
Red Shirt
White Shirt
Blue Shirt
These shirts should not have any writing on them- your coach may ask you to wear them inside out. It is very difficult for the evaluators to read numbers with writing on the back of shirts. Please bring one of each so that we do not have to wear pinnies throughout the day.
Black/Navy socks
White socks
Please bring a pair of both. You will NOT be allowed to play in striped or bright colored socks. This is a US Sanctioned event therefore, please abide by the rules.
Flat sneakers, NOT cleats
Plenty of Water
Food and snacks for throughout the day
This year there will be a concession stand at the field with snacks, waters and fruit.
Sunblock/Rain Gear
Mouthguards & Shin guards
Extra Hair Ties
STICK!!!!/ Goalie Equipment
Restrooms will be provided at the Whit right behind the field.

YOU MUST PRE-REGISTER FOR THIS EVENT!!!! REGIONAL TOURNAMENT 2008 will be JUNE 1st at University of New Hampshire in Durham, NH.
Regional tournament registration info has been emailed to all Futures athletes. If you did not get an email with registration info please contact Marian Connelly mconne8316@comcast.net 603-431-2433 to register. All athletes need to pre-register for the tournament. Registration deadline is May 18, 2008.
