In addition to her 2007 Goalkeeper of the Year awards, Tran earned top honors at the 2005 Champions Challenge, 2006 AstroTurf March on Madrid, 2006 World Cup Qualifying Tournament and 2006 World Cup. At the Pan Am Games, Tran collected a pair of shutouts in victories over Cuba (7-0) and Canada (6-0).

A former member of USA Field Hockey teams and a college coach, Whitehead died from melanoma in November of 2006. USA Field Hockey’s Sun Safe Play!
