Harrow Sports Named Official Presenting Sponsor of USA Field Hockey’s StickStarz

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.  – USA Field Hockey has signed innovative apparel and equipment manufacturer Harrow Sports LLC as the exclusive Official Presenting Sponsor of USA Field Hockey’s StickStarz Program.

Under the agreement, Harrow will also carry the designation as an Official National Supplier of USA Field Hockey.

Entering its second year in 2008, StickStarz provides field hockey training and games for young athletes ages 8-12. A founding partner of the program, Harrow provided affordable starter kits for the programs young athletes during its inaugural season in 2007.

 “We believe the StickStarz program is an important initiative in helping young athletes to learn and enjoy the game while developing the early skills of the sport of field hockey,” said USA Field Hockey Executive Director Sheila Walker.  “We are thrilled that Harrow Sports has joined us in support of these young athletes and to the continued development of the sport in the United States.”

USA Field Hockey is the National Governing Body for the sport of field hockey in the United States as recognized by the United States Olympic Committee, the International Hockey Federation (FIH) and the International Olympic Committee (IOC). As such, USA Field Hockey is responsible for the training and selection of athletes for international competition as well as the promotion and development of the game of field hockey in the United States.
