Old Dominion's Dana Sensenig capped the first half with a field goal to give Maryland a 3-0 halftime advantage. Games between Midwest and South and New England and Northern California were suspended on Thursday night after thunderstorms interrupted play early in the second half. The games will be resumed on Sunday with Midwest and South tied at 1-1 and New England leading Northern California, 3-1.

The six-team tournament continues with round-robin play before concluding with the championship and classification games at 11:15 and 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday July 4.

The teams at the tournament are comprised of college-aged and older athletes including current members of the USA National Squad and recent college All-America selections. Athletes are selected to train at regionally-based high performance training centers and are selected to compete at the National Championships based on their performances during the spring. In addition to National Championship honors, the tournament serves as a selection opportunity to the USA National Squad and USA Junior National Camp.
