USA Field Hockey Junior Men  to Compete in British Columbia Series

Alex Zempolich and the USA Junior Team will meet the British Columbia juniors in a three-game series in Vancouver..

Colorado Springs, Colo. - Athletes in USA Field Hockey's junior men's program will get a taste of international competition this week as the USA travels to Canada for a three-game series with the British Columbia junior squad, Nov. 10-12 in Vancouver.

The matches represent the first international competition for the 2006-07 USA Junior Squad following its selection at the USA Field Hockey Men's National Championships in June.

The USA juniors swept a three game series from the British Columbia juniors in 2005.

USA men's coach Nick Conway will head the delegation that includes Amrit Ahluwalia (Irvine, Calif.), Kevin Barber (Camarillo, Calif.),  Sonu Chana (Phoenix, Ariz.), Jed Cunningham (Moorpark, Calif.), Sean Fleming (Westlake Village, Calif.), Jonathon Ginolfi (Moorpark, Calif.), Alex Grassi (Brookville, Md.), Will Holt (Camarillo, Calif.), Jason Kahlon (Yorba Linda, Calif.), Asavir Kalla (Cupertino, Calif), Manraj Khosla (Phoenix, Ariz.), Manny Martinez (Lakeside, Calif.), Viren Padhir (Fountain Valley, Calif.), Tyson Reeves (Ventura, Calif.), Colin Scally (Thousand Oaks, Calif.), Nick Szoke (Chesapeake, Va.) and Alex Zempolich (Cleveland, Ohio).
