USA Field Hockey Women Down Chile,
4-1

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Jessica Coleman (Oceanport, N.J.)scored
three goals to lead the USA Field Hockey women's national team to a 4-1
victory over Chile in the first game of a three nation tournament in
Buenos Aires.
The USA will play Argentina in the final
game of the three nation tournament on Saturday before taking on
Argentina again in the championship game on Sunday. Argentina defeated
Chile by the same 4-1 score earlier in the tournament.
Making her first national team appearance
since 2003, Coleman put the USA on top in the 17th minute with a penalty
corner goal before adding to the lead ten minutes later on another
penalty corner flick.
Chile's Sandara Wenz connected on a penalty corner in the 32nd minute to
cut the USA lead to 2-1 at halftime.
Coleman completed the hat trick midway
through the second half when she added a field goal in the 48th minute.
Kelsey Keeran (Columbus, Ohio) completed the scoring with the second
international goal of her career in the 63rd minute to seal the victory
for the USA.
The USA will meet Argentina on Saturday at
7:10 p.m.
