Media Accreditation Applications Available for Rabobank Champions Challenge

USA Field Hockey to Host Tournament July 8-16 in Virginia Beach

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Media accreditation applications are now available for the Rabobank Field Hockey Champions Challenge, July 8-16 at the USA Field Hockey National Training Center in Virginia Beach, Va

Accreditation applications are available for download from the tournament website at http://www.womenschampionschallenge2005.com/media. Deadline for applications is June 6, 2005.

One of the premier events of the International Hockey Federation (FIH), the Rabobank Champions Challenge features the world’s 7-12 ranked women’s teams and includes the national teams from England, Japan, New Zealand, South Africa, Spain and the host USA. The tournament represents the return of major international field hockey competition to the United States for the first time since the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta.

The Founders Inn in Virginia Beach will serve as the media hotel and space is limited. Additional information is available with the accreditation application.
