Penn Monto Renews at USA Field Hockey Official Hockey Ball Supplier

Colorado Springs, Colo.
– USA Field Hockey has renewed a sponsorship agreement with Penn Monto, Inc. by designating the Hadley, Mass. field hockey equipment manufacturer as an official supplier to USA Field Hockey , exclusive hockey ball supplier to USA Field Hockey and ball supplier of USA Field Hockey’s Equipment Grant Program.

“Our relationship with USA Field Hockey goes back to the mid 1970’s when Penn Monto developed the first non-leather field hockey ball,” said Penn Monto Owner/President Carol Anderson.  “Up to this time, all balls absorbed water.  Today the preferred surface is water-based turf and all FIH balls are water resistant. Penn Monto continues to lead the field hockey world with innovative state of the art balls and composite sticks.  We are proud to continue our thirty-year partnership with USA Field Hockey.

The exclusive provider of field hockey balls for USA Field Hockey domestic programs and events such as the Futures Talent Identification Program, National Hockey Festival, National Indoor Tournament, USA Field Hockey High School and College Open Camps and the USA Field Hockey National Training Center in Virginia Beach, Penn Monto will also provide hockey balls for USA Field Hockey Equipment Grant program to assist new and developing field hockey grass roots programs.

“USA Field Hockey is proud of our association with Penn Monto,” said USA Field Hockey Executive Director Sheila Walker. “Through their support of our Grant Equipment Program and the outstanding work of the Penn Monto Foundation, we share in the development and strength of the sport of field hockey across America.”

Established in 1976, Penn Monto specializes in field hockey equipment including Penn Monto composite and wood sticks, goalkeeper gear and Penn Monto hockey balls for all playing surfaces and field conditions.
