Penn Monto Renews at USA
Field Hockey Official Hockey Ball Supplier

– USA Field Hockey has renewed a sponsorship
agreement with Penn Monto, Inc. by designating the Hadley, Mass.
field hockey equipment manufacturer as an official supplier to USA
Field Hockey , exclusive hockey ball supplier to USA Field Hockey
and ball supplier of USA Field Hockey’s Equipment Grant Program.
“Our relationship with USA
Field Hockey goes back to the mid 1970’s when Penn Monto developed the first
non-leather field hockey ball,” said Penn Monto Owner/President Carol
Anderson. “Up to this time, all balls absorbed water. Today the preferred
surface is water-based turf and all FIH balls are water resistant. Penn
Monto continues to lead the field hockey world with innovative state of the
art balls and composite sticks. We are proud to continue our thirty-year
partnership with USA Field Hockey.
The exclusive provider of
field hockey balls for USA Field Hockey domestic programs and events such as
the Futures Talent Identification Program, National Hockey Festival,
National Indoor Tournament, USA Field Hockey High School and College Open
Camps and the USA Field Hockey National Training Center in Virginia Beach,
Penn Monto will also provide hockey balls for USA Field Hockey Equipment
Grant program to assist new and developing field hockey grass roots
programs.

outstanding work of the Penn Monto Foundation, we share in the development
and strength of the sport of field hockey across America.”
Established in 1976, Penn
Monto specializes in field hockey equipment including Penn Monto composite
and wood sticks, goalkeeper gear and Penn Monto hockey balls for all playing
surfaces and field conditions.
USA Field Hockey is the
National Governing Body for the sport of field hockey in the United States
as recognized by the United States Olympic Committee, the International
Hockey Federation (FIH) and the International Olympic Committee (IOC). As
such, USA Field Hockey is responsible for the training and selection of
athletes for international competition as well as the promotion and
development of the game of field hockey in the United States.
