USA Field Hockey Names Nominating &
Governance Committee
COLORADO SPRINGS,
Colo. – USA Field Hockey has named its first independent nominating and
governance committee as the sport's national governing body
Appointed under USA Field Hockey's newly approved
bylaws, the new committee
will solicit, screen and recommend individuals for service of the USA
Field Hockey Board of Directors
and standing committees as well as study and analyze the ethical
considerations of the Board and committees and business operations of
USA Field Hockey.
The Nominating and Governance Committee includes Ann Arbor attorney
Bruce Elliott,
Columbia Univ. Assistant Field Hockey Coach and former USA National Team
member Tracey Larson,
Amnesty International Director of Human Rights Education Program and
former U.S. National Team member
Karen Robinson,
Ethicist and former U.S. Olympic Committee Chief Compliance Officer
Patrick J. Rodgers
and Director of Financial Planning and Analysis for The Solae Company,
LLC, St. Louis, Joseph
Strout.

this outstanding group of individuals who have agreed to serve as
our Nominating and Governance Committee," said USA Field Hockey
President Sharonn Taylor. Their work over the next several weeks
will be critical to the direction of our organization for years to
come, and we are confident in their capacity to make the right
choices on our behalf."
The committee will being accepting nominations for board positions in
preparations for USA Field Hockey's next meeting of the Board scheduled
for June in Philadelphia.
