USA Coaching Staff, Gold Medalists to
Conduct California Clinic
The USA Field Hockey Coaching staff of
Technical Director Terry Walsh, Women's National Team Coach Lee Bodimeade
and Men's National Coach Nick Conway will conduct a Gold Medal clinic, Feb.
11 at the United States Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista.
The clinic will feature members of the USA men's and women's national team
as well as members of the Dutch club Bloemendaal. Clinicians from
Bloemendaal include two time Olympic gold medalist and two-time FIH Player
of the Year Teun de Nooijer of the Netherlands.
The USA men's national team will take on
Blowmendaal in an exhibition match following the clinic.
The clinic begins with registration at 9 a.m.
on Feb. 11 with the USA Men/Bloemendaal match scheduled for 2 p.m. The
clinic concludes with a post-match discussion and wrap up. Participants are
invited to bring their own lunch.
Registration fee for the clinicis $35.
