Elite Performance Training Center Selection Opportunities Available at the National Hockey Festival

USA Field Hockey would like to announce an evaluation opportunity at the Hockey Festival for recommendation or selection into the 2006 Elite Performance Training Center Program (EPTC).  The USA National Coaching Staff will be present at the Hockey Festival and invite all athletes (college-aged or older) to request an evaluation.  High school athletes are not eligible.  

 

Athletes who are interested in an evaluation should email the following information to Kate Reisinger (katereisinger@usfieldhockey.com) by November 21:

 

        Name

        Name of Hockey Festival Team & Division

        Hockey Festival Jersey Number

        Position

        Name, address, email, phone number and date of birth

        College/University or club

 

If recommended to attend an EPTC Trial or if selected to participate in the EPTC Program, athletes will be advised by January 1, 2006.  

 

Athletes requesting an evaluation at the Hockey Festival will receive no further correspondence from USA Field Hockey prior to the Hockey Festival.  The subjective evaluation of match play will be the sole tool used by the National Coaching Staff.  Athletes will not receive any type of written or verbal evaluation of their Hockey Festival play from the National Coaching Staff.
