USA Field Hockey Names Corrie Brunner Coordinator of Olympic and Sport Development Programs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – USA Field Hockey has named Corrie Brunner as Coordinator of Olympic and Sport Development Programs.

    In her new position, Brunner, 34, will join an Olympic and Sport Development staff that includes Asst. Executive Director Laura Darling and program director Tracey Wisdom. Brunner will assist in USA field Hockey programs including the 5,000-athlete Futures Program which serves as the initial step in USA Field Hockey's Olympic development program. Brunner will also coordinate projects in USA Field Hockey’s sport development program including grassroots development and club-level competition.

 

“I am thrilled to be part of the USA Field Hockey team and excited about the direction the organization is heading," said Brunner

 

Prior to joining the USA Field Hockey staff, Brunner served as project manager for The Bonham Group, a Denver-based sports and entertainment marketing company. At The Bonham Group, Brunner managed market research projects for sports industry clients including the National Hockey League, the Cleveland Indians, Texas Tech University, the Houston Rockets and the East Coast Hockey League.

 

     “We are all very excited to have Corrie as a member of our team,” said Assistant Executive Director for Olympic and Sport Development Laura Darling. “She brings a wealth of experience in project direction and management and her skills will be a tremendous asset to our Olympic and sport development programs.”


        A 1994 graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh, Brunner earned a Master of Business Administration degree in marketing from Concordia University (Wis.) in 1997 and a Master of Arts degree in sports administration from the University of Northern Colorado in 2002.
