LONDON, Ontario – Jarred Martin scored three goals and Pat Harris and Shawn Nakamura scored two goals each to lift the USA men's field hockey team to an 11-0 win over Puerto Rico in the 7th/8th place game of the Pan American Cup.

Harris began the USA scoring spree early in the game when he connected on a penalty corner in the sixth minute of play. Martin recorded his hat trick in a 17-minute span, sandwiching his three tallies around Shawn Hindy's penalty corner midway through the first half.

Harris concluded the tournament with 10 goals while Nakamura added 9  and Marin 8.

Nakamura added a peanlty corner score late in the half to give the USA a 6-0 halftime lead.

The USA continued its onslaught in the second half with goals by Harris and Nakamura before a  trio of USA field Hockey's young stars concluded the scoring with Danny Jordan (19), Gurpal Kundi (17),  and Ramandeep Sandhu (20) collecting their goals.

Argentina and Canada will meet in Sunday's championship final for the continent's automatic berth in the 2006 World Cup.
