Steve Danielson and the US Men's Indoor Team will prepare for next year's Indoor World Cup with a two-tournament tour of GErmany

US Field Hockey Men's Indoor to Tour Germany

Colorado Springs (Oct. 12) -- The U.S. Field Hoceky men's indoor team will begin its preparations for next year's FIH Indoor World Cup with a two-tournament tour in Hanover and Hamburg, Germany, Oct. 28-Nov. 11.
   The U.S. will compete in the inaugural International Hockey Federation Indoor World Cup, Feb. 6-9, 2003 in Leipzig, Germany.
   The 16-member Germany tour team features 10 members from the team that placed second at the first Indoor Pan American Cup to earn the U.S. its spot in the Indoor World Cup.  Jeremy Cook (Washington, D.C.), Pat Cota (Camarillo, Calif.), Steve Danielson (San Diego, Calif.), Andrew Duncan (Honolulu, Hawaii), Pat Harris (Moorpark, Calif.), Peter Jones (Stamford, Conn.), Ryan Langford (Camarillo, Calif.), Olaf Maack (San Diego, Calif.), Gus Reed (Colorado Springs, Colo.) and Chris Terrebonne (Oxnard, Calif.) return from the Pan Am team. The squad also includes U.S. national team outdoor member Shawn Hindy  (Westlake Village, Calif.) as well as goalkeepers Chuck Carney (Jamaica, Mass.), Greg Nathan (Del Mar, Calif.) and Milan Tyburec (New York City, N.Y.), defender David Sculley (Cambridge, Mass.) and forward Daniel Dion.
   At the 2003 Indoor World Cup, coach Billy McPherson and the U.S. will join men's teams from the Czech Republic, France, Germany, The Netherlands, Poland, France, Switzerland, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and South Africa.
