US Field Hockey High Performance Manager

The U.S. Field Hockey Association seeks a self-driven sports management professional to serve as High Performance Manager for the Women’s National Team in Virginia Beach, Va.

The manager will act as the USFHA contact at the US Field Hockey National Training Center in Virginia Beach; travel to assigned domestic and international events; assist coaching staff with daily administration duties; act as liaison with local sponsors, volunteers, medical staff, athletes and the National Office in Colorado Springs; and act as on-site director of the Summer League program. 

A bachelor’s degree is required.  Applicants should have demonstrated communication and leadership skills.  A background in athletics, sport management or the sport of field hockey is beneficial, but not required.  The position reports to the Executive Director and works daily with the National Coach.
