NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP, VIRGINIA BEACH
JUNE 14-21, 2008
On May 29th we will select a team to represent our region down at the National Championships in Virginia Beach. Please understand that you will be responsible for your own expenses. If selected, this will be your opportunity to be seen by our National Coaching staff in what is considered the top domestic event in the United States.
. Transportation To Va Beach: All athletes selected to the National Championships will need to provide their own transportation to Virginia Beach with an arrival date no later than the evening of June 13th. We will have a light walk thru on Saturday morning, June 14th. Our first match is on June 14th at 8:00pm vs New England.
· Tournament Housing: TBA. You will be roomed 4 or 3 to a room. Once the team is selected we will accept roommate requests. No athletes will be permitted to stay in any other housing including other hotels, parents homes, friends or relatives homes, this is per the USFHA
· Transportation in Va Beach: We will have a team Van (15 passenger) to take athletes from the tournament hotel to the field. If you plan on providing your own transportation to and from the hotel that is fine, you do not have to ride in the Van.
· Team Uniforms: Under Armor shirts and shorts will be provided for competition. I will be taking sizes and # requests in the coming weeks.
· Financial Commitment: If you have not already done so please go to usfieldhockey.com and pay your $150 training fee, this transaction can be completed online.
