2008 New Jersey HPC Information

WELCOME TO PA/NJ HIGH PERFORMANCE CENTER
The goal of the the HPC’s (High Performance Centers) is to provide regional training opportunities for elite level field hockey players with national team aspirations. Our area has an incredible tradition of sending players to compete for the national teams, and this program is set up to give those up-and-coming athletes a place to train and improve alongside current and former national team members. NJ High Performance Team is coached by Kristen Winn and other committed coaches from the region.
TRIAL DETAILS (Futures Elite athletes cannot attend the trial)

Please understand that this policy is to protect the quality of YOUR trial. It is imperative that we have the correct ratio of selectors to athletes and that we have the groups organized in advance.
EXPECTATIONS
Our success in Virginia Beach has largely been due to the dedication and commitment of our athletes. Before registering please have a look at the schedule. We understand that you will probably not be able to make every training session but our expectation is that you will make a sincere effort to be at as many as possible.
FUTURES ELITE/ODS
Only Olympic Development Select (ODS) athletes who attended Junior National Camp are permitted to tryout for a HPC. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS MADE.
All Futures Elite athletes are permitted to attend one HPC training session (the one closest to their home) as a guest (any date except April 26th). Please send me a quick e-mail to let me know which session you are attending (kh@princeton.edu). Thank you! Looking forward to seeing you on the field.
