University of Maryland, College Park, Field Hockey Complex
From Baltimore and Points North
Take I-95 South to Washington, D.C.'s Capital Beltway (I-495).
Take Exit 27 and then follow signs to Exit 25 (U.S. 1 South toward College Park).
Proceed approximately 1 mile south on U.S. Route 1.
Turn right onto Route 193 West.
At your first light turn left on Paint Branch Drive (into campus).
Follow Paint Branch Drive past the Comcast Center on your right - you will see the field hockey turf on the left side.
From Virginia and Points South
Take I-95 North to Washington, D.C.'s Capital Beltway (I-495).
Continue North on I-95/I-495 toward Baltimore.
Take Exit 25 (U.S. 1 South toward College Park).
Proceed approximately 1 mile south on U.S. Route 1.
Turn right onto Route 193 West.
At your first light turn left on Paint Branch Drive (into campus).
Follow Paint Branch Drive past the Comcast Center on your right - you will see the field hockey turf on the left side.
From Virginia and Points West
Take I-66 East or I-270 South to Washington, D.C.'s Capital Beltway (I-495).
Go East on I-495 toward Baltimore/Silver Spring.
Take Exit 25 (U.S. 1 South toward College Park).
Proceed approximately 1 mile south on U.S. Route 1.
Turn right onto Route 193 West.
At your first light turn left on Paint Branch Drive (into campus).
Follow Paint Branch Drive past the Comcast Center on your right - you will see the field hockey turf on the left side.
From Annapolis and Points East
Take U.S. 50 to Washington, D.C.'s Capital Beltway (I-495).
Go North on I-95/I-495 toward Baltimore.
Take Exit 25 (U.S. 1 South toward College Park).
Proceed approximately 1 mile south on U.S. Route 1.
Turn right onto Route 193 West.
At your first light turn left on Paint Branch Drive (into campus).
Follow Paint Branch Drive past the Comcast Center on your right - you will see the field hockey turf on the left side.
From Washington, D.C. (Northwest/Southwest)
Take 16th St. North which becomes Georgia Ave. North at Maryland/D.C. line.
Go East on I-495 toward Baltimore.
Take Exit 25 (U.S. 1 South toward College Park).
Proceed approximately 1 mile south on U.S. Route 1.
Turn right onto Route 193 West.
At your first light turn left on Paint Branch Drive (into campus).
Follow Paint Branch Drive past the Comcast Center on your right - you will see the field hockey turf on the left side.
Driving Directions to the University of Virginia
From I-64:
Following signs to the UVA Information Center, get off at exit 118B for the Route 29/250 Bypass. Go approximately 2 miles and take the off ramp for Route 250 East Business (Ivy Road). Turn right off the exit ramp and follow Ivy Road. At the third traffic light, turn right on Route 29 Business/Emmet Street. Continue 1/2 block just past the blinking light. Turn left into the University of Virginia parking garage (hourly fees), which is directly in front of Newcomb Hall.
From I-66 via US Route 29 North:
Take I-66 from Northern Virginia past Manassas. Take the exit marked "Route 29 South - Gainesville." Proceed to Charlottesville, where Route 29 becomes Emmet Street. Pass University Hall basketball arena on the right. Proceed straight through the traffic light at the intersection of Route 250 Business (University Avenue/Ivy Road). Continue 1/2 block just past the blinking light. Turn left into the University of Virginia parking garage (hourly fees), which is directly in front of Newcomb Hall.
From the East via I-64:
Take I-64 West to Exit 118B. Proceed on US 29 North, then take the US 29 North Business exit. Turn right onto Fontaine Avenue after coming off the ramp. Follow the signs to the Medical Center/University Hospital. Continue on US 29 North Business to the traffic light. After the traffic light, you will be on Jefferson Park Avenue. Follow Jefferson Park Avenue as it bears to the right. Watch for overhead signs indicating parking garages to the right on Lee Street.
From the West via I-64:
Take I-64 East to Exit 118. Proceed on US 29 North, then take the US 29 North Business exit. Turn right onto Fontaine Avenue after coming off the ramp. Follow the signs to the Medical Center/University Hospital. Continue on US 29 North Business to the traffic light. After the traffic light, you will be on Jefferson Park Avenue.
