Welcome to the California High Performance Center
This is where you will find information on the 2008 California High Performance Center
MAIN OBJECTIVES: At the California High Performance Center we offer elite athletes an opportunity to train together, improve their game, and the chance to possibly play at the next level. The strongest candidates will be selected to represent the region at the Women’s National Championships in June. The National Championship is the premier women’s tournament in the country, bringing together the best players in the nation and affording them the opportunity to be selected to a National team.
PROCESS: Tryouts are March 8, 2008 and there is an initial fee of $35. (Don’t forget to bring signed copies of the medical and waiver handouts that can be found online!) If you are selected to the training squad there is an additional fee of $150. At the end of the training sessions a team will be selected to compete in the National Championship tournament in Virginia Beach (June 14th – 21st ) .
WHAT’S NEW: This year’s team will actually be a collaboration of players from the California site and the new site that was formed in Pennsylvania.
