New Design

The Junior National Camp is the top selection opportunity for Futures athletes. The camp features the top Futures athletes eligible for the most elite training opportunities available in the USA for U19 athletes. Athletes attending the Junior National Camp are eligible for immediate selection to a USA Field Hockey High Performance Center as well as other selection opportunities. All Olympic Development Select athletes may attend a High Peformance Center trial. Athletes selected to attend the Junior National Camp are considered part of the Olympic Development Select for the upcoming year.

Approximately 50-60 athletes are selected from the National Futures Championship to attend the Junior National Camp. Invitations will be extended at the end of the NFC.

Junior National Camp athletes hold the status of Olympic Development Select for one year and, if still age eligible for the National Futures Championship, the athlete will be talent identified for automatic appointment onto their regional team. Athletes will be placed on their regional team only if they are current in Futures, have met the Futures attendance policy and attend their Futures Regional Tournament.
