2009 REGIONAL RUMBLE RESULTS   U14 U16A | U16B U19A | U19B

The Regional Rumble will run next door to the National Futures Championship again in 2009. This summer, 38 teams representing the Futures regions will meet in Virginia Beach for a showdown event June 24– 28, 2009. The event will be held across the street from the USA Field Hockey National Training Center on seven multi-purpose Bermuda grass playing fields very similar to the Hockey Festival playing surface.

Will the College Coaches be at the Regional Rumble?

USA Field Hockey cannot guarantee how many college coaches will be in attendance; however, in 2008 many college coaches attended both the National Futures Championship and Regional Rumble. The feedback from college coaches has been very positive. We are encouraging coaches to take advantage of having these two events so close to each other.

What about securing hotel rooms?

All hotel reservations must be secured through www.globaljbs.com (JBS Destination Solutions /Global Housing Bureau). National Futures Championship and Regional Rumble events are played during ‘high season’ for Virginia Beach hotels. Special room rates have been negotiated with hotels in Virginia Beach, therefore if USA Field Hockey does not meet its room block guarantee at each hotel, penalties are charged to USA Field Hockey which in turn raises registration fees for upcoming events. Please understand the following bulleted points.

• Hotel reservations are available for you to make your reservations online at www.globaljbs.com .
• No one will be allowed to reserve more than 2 rooms per family.
• Room reservations are only permitted to Regional Rumble registered families or returning National Futures Championship families.
• All changes / cancellations must come through www.globaljbs.com at least seven (7) days prior to June 20th or there will be NO exceptions for refunds. Do not contact the hotels directly.
• Log onto www.globaljbs.com to make your hotel reservation. Credit Card required.

I M P O R T A N T Information to Understand

• Registration fees are NON REFUNDABLE. The only exception is if you are on the waiting list and not called upon to participate. Refunds will be made within two weeks following the event.
• Hotel Rooms can ONLY be secured through www.globaljbs.com . Reservations cannot be made through the hotel itself.
• Hotel cancellation or changes in reservation MUST be made through www.globaljbs.com and NOT directly with the hotel.
• Registration remains open until each region fills its participation limit. Based on 2008 the event filled up very quickly. If you plan on attending do not delay registration.
• Registration includes uniform, tournament fees and all venue activities.
