Compete for a National Title and National Team Selection
USA Field Hockey’s Men’s High Performance Training Centers provide elite-level training for male athletes that are serious about playing Field Hockey at an advanced level. Regional training sites are available offering athletes a consistent training opportunity designed to develop skills and tactics in preparation for the USA Field Hockey Men’s National Championships, June 30 - July 5, 2009.
Athletes will be selected to represent their Region at the National Championship competition. Selections are performance based to ensure that the strongest representative team participates at the National Championships. All athletes must be members of USA Field Hockey to register for this program.
Additionally, selected athletes will have the opportunity to be named to a USA National Team at the National Championship event.

Men's National Championship Information

Travel Stipend to San Diego
Individuals selected to represent their region will be responsible for travel cost incurred for travel to San Diego. Each teams tournament registration fee will include an allowance for a travel stipend.

Ground Transportation
Each Team will have access to two mini-vans per team for transportation purposes between the tournament hotel and the competition venue.
Tournament Accommodation
Five nights, inclusive of breakfast and evening tournament highlight show.
Team Uniforms
ASICS team uniform.
Men's High Performance Field Hockey
The 2009 Men’s National Championships are an opportunity to gain selection to a USA Men’s National Field Hockey Team.
Selected athletes must possess USA citizenship and be committed and dedicated to pursuing sustained International excellence at both training and competition opportunities.
