Welcome to the San Francisco Bay Area Regional Training Center
RTC Program Philosophy
The Regional Training Center (RTC) program is a High Performance program designed to provide a regional training opportunity for athletes that have the ability and inclination to strive to represent the United States in international play. In order to create the most elite level training environment possible, foreign nationals are invited to participate in this program.
Membership with USA Field Hockey is a pre-requisite for involvement with the RTC program. Additionally, a nominal registration fee of $10 provides an individual with the opportunity to train at any Regional Training Center along with access to the From the Top website.
As a High Performance program all registered RTC athletes are required to achieve a certain performance standard. Athlete involvement is therefore subject to the ability to perform to a level consistent with the requirements of the training session and environment.
